Many Native Americans believed deer and other animals with forked horns and antlers represented forked or double nature. The white-tailed deer was thought to be an animal helper, but the dark-tailed deer meant danger.
For the Druids, a deer or hart was also capable of prophecy. Visions often occured in the presence of deer.
How would you define your character’s relationship with The Doctor?
I like that she holds her own. You know, The Doctor’s this amazing man, and she’s like, “You know, cool. I think you’re amazing, but so am I.” So, it’s a nice double act.
